Working Conditions:

– Wage $24.50 per hour

– Working Hours 7 hours per day (35 hours per week)

– Benefit: 10 days paid vacation OR 4% vacation pay + Extended Medical Insurance after 6 months of employment

 

Job duties you will be responsible for:

– Ensure all materials are purchased on time, to specification, and at the best price available.

– Participate in the selection and development of products and collections.

– Assist in market analysis and decision-making.

– Analyze assigned product categories and propose appropriate action plan.

– Negotiate with suppliers and build long term relationships.

– Make sure stock is rotated effectively and waste minimise.

– Develop and maintain a supplier database to strengthen the procurement process.

– Liaise with suppliers on quality problems in conjunction with company quality standards.

 

Requirements:

– Completion of High School is required.

– Minimum 1 year’ work experience in retail or wholesale establishments
– English
